Luck of the Irish!

I started a new tradition on St. Patricks day last year... we eat green everything for dinner and the kids help make it. Last years meal was kind of gross weird since it was all naturally green and stuff we were not used to. The pesto sauce for example, not my favorite. So this year I'm taking the advice of others and just added green food coloring to everything. So we had:

Green Chicken (I added green food coloring to the cream of mushroom soup gravy)
Green mashed potatoes
Green garlic bread
Green Salad
Green Beans

It was pretty yummy! And the kids like it so that's all that matters. We ended up having it the night before St. Patty's since Paul's parents wanted us all to get together on their last night before they leave for their 2nd mission to Bogota, Columbia. They will be gone until Christmas of 2011. We will miss them but have really enjoyed all the time we've had with them in between these two missions.
