I'm a boy mom

A couple weeks ago in California Kade fell at the tide pools. His hand bled a lot and he swore a shell or rock went into his hand. I couldn't see one. Today he told me it was still hurting. I looked at it, it was hard and had black in it. So I disinfected tweezers and cut it open and out popped a tiny snail shell. So weird and gross but he's so proud of it. He's such a boy.

Happy Fathers Day

This summer, our family has enjoyed hiking. The kids are old enough for it to be fun and to walk themselves. For Father's Day, all Paul wanted to do was hike so after church we headed to Stewart Falls. It was longer and more hilly than we planned but still a great hike. These kids scored with the best dad ever and we loved celebrating with him.

Lake Mary Hike

Loving the hikes in Utah. This one to lake Mary was probably our favorite. It was gorgeous. It was through the Brighton resort. There was still snow so it was pretty chilly with some snow in places but overall gorgeous.

Last Day of School

Our last day of school tradition has been to go get ice-cream. This year we decided to go to Meechies a new frozen yogurt place by our house. It lets you build your own sundae and we loved it! It was a great year of 4th grade, 4th grade, 1st grade and preschool. Its going to be a great summer!

Jaxon's Preschool Graduation

Jaxons graduated from preschool today. He's been going to the elementary preschool for the last two years and has loved Miss Julie. The program was cute. They sang songs and told what they want to be when they grow up. Jaxon still wants to be a doctor.
