Teacher Appreciation

This year, I got to help do door decorating for Kylie and Bailey's teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week. So during the superbowl, I did these with the help of my awesome sister in law (Thanks Jenny) and sweet little girls.

I found this idea online and copied it for Bailey's teacher. I thought it was so cute! All this is done in vinyl lol.

Kylie's Teacher is very creative and this is what we came up with... My own form of creativity I guess.

 Then the gifts... what teacher doesn't need pencils?

 Then the same week, my school had a door decorating contest for the colleges we went to (mine wasn't even close to winning, there were some amazing ones). I'm pretty proud of mine :)  Go Waves! 

Newest member of our family

No we are NOT having a baby but we did get a puppy. The kids have been begging for one and Paul and I think Jaxon's old enough to handle it. We had some drama... we bought and paid for one before presidents day weekend (friday) and were supposed to pick him up tonight. Last night at 9 at night, the owner called and said she wasn't sure we could have him because she was too attached. Awesome right? So Paul and I freaked out, knowing how we were going to have some heartbroken children. They had spent all week thinking of names and getting so excited. I got on KSL and found another breeder with the same kind of dogs but those were puppies. We went and saw them this evening and fell in love.

So meet Moose (the people we got it from named him and it fit him so we kept it.)

 

 

He's almost 7 weeks old and is very cuddly and calm. I'm not a dog person and have been nervous about taking care of a dog but this one is seriously great for us. He's sweet and tiny. He's already part of our family.
