I was induced after finding out I had pre-ecplampsia and had a fast delivery. The delivery room was insane. It went faster than my doctor expected and everyone was scrambling to get ready. I don't remember much but Paul said there was a lot of yelling. Lizzie was first, baby A, at 1:54 p.m., was 19.75 inches and weighed 5 lbs 8 oz.

Flashback Friday: Lizzie and Linnie Born
Since I won't have time over the next few weeks to do any updates I thought I'd dedicate this flashback friday to my two favorite girls and when they were born (five years ago on August 1st...crazy).

Girls Camp
I spent the last few days at girls camp at Bear Lake and loved every minute of it! It was strange to be away from my kids but I always loved girls camp when I was younger so it was a lot of fun to go as a leader and hang out with my girls. We had a blast swimming in the lake...
and boating (the water weinie was awesome!) Hannah, Emily and I were the champions. I'm not sure how I did it all I know is I was not looking forward to my face planting in the cold lake but it was a blast when I did :) ...
and we even did some biking. I am proud to say I rode on an 18 mile bike ride! Can you believe it? I couldn't, and my tush still hasn't forgiven me for it! We climbed 1 very large hill and many little ones. I was very proud of myself for making it the whole way since I hardly ever touch my bike. Every single girl and leader who started the bike ride finished, we were so proud of all our girls!
Here are Lisa and I with all our beautiful beehive girls (the 12-13 year old girls at church)! I was a little nervous to have them pick me up but they are some tough girls!

I had to come home early to pack for California. We are leaving Saturday (Paul will fly out to meet us there on Thursday night) and won't be back until August 3rd. While we are there Paul and I will be stimulating the economy (with our economic stimulus package... thanks George W) by flying to Hawaii with Scott and Jenny! We're so excited. I'll add some pictures of California and our trip when we get back from California.

Ice Cream
It seems like I've posted a lot lately. Today, we spent time outside in the backyard, throwing water balloons (which are a pain when you have 3 kids that go through them like nothing, I must have filled 50 balloons for them) then went and got kid cones from McDonalds (I had forgotten they are only a quarter, what a deal!) This is the end result!
Doesn't Blake look funny! The bandanna is to keep his little blond head from burning but I think it makes him look tough and that just makes me laugh!
Flashback Friday: Summer Fun
I had no clue what to post today so I just decided to put some random summer pictures. I love the summer and hanging out with my kids. Its the only time of year we don't have anything we HAVE to do and we have a lot of fun. These are pictures of Lizzie and Linnie when they were almost 2 during the summer.

Swimming
After Kent and Stacy left, we decided to go swimming at the pool. It was a ton of fun but we found out just how sensitive Blake's skin is when he got burnt being in the sun 2 1/2 hours with 45 spf sunscreen on. Poor kid.

Family Visit
Uncle Kent, Aunt Stacy and Cousin A came to visit this week and we are having so much fun. Uncle Kent is great for rough housing.
All the kids attacking poor Uncle Kent. A is more interested in the camera.
Trying to give Uncle Kent a Wet Willy (Aunt Stacy taught them how to do that!)
Silly Blake. He thought he was the funniest guy by putting a ball under his chin.
I was trying to get Blaketo give A a kiss on her head. This was the best he would do. It looks like he's going to eat her.
A is the funniest little baby. She sucks all the air out of her bottle then crawls/stands around drinking her bottle like this. The girl has too much to do to hold on to the bottle... Hillarious!
Playing in the Backyard
Don't tell Paul...
Yesterday morning we were showing our house and had to leave for a while so we took the kids to McDonald's to play. I fixed Lizzie and Linnie's hair and put a big bow in it. Blake did not like being left out and bawled and bawled because he wanted a bow too. Poor guy has two sisters he wants to be just like. So I gave in since it was just a bow and let him hold it. But that wasn't enough, he wanted it in his "ha" (hair). It was so funny I had to take a picture. I don't think Paul approves of his son wearing bow... oops.

Happy 4th of July
For the fourth of July, Scott and Jenny came over and we BBQed and lit fireworks. It wasn't the same without the roman candles (the boys in Paul's family like to shoot them at each other! Yes they are a little insane) but we had a blast! Thanks for coming Scott and Jenny!
Us on the sidelines watching the firework display. People (Kim and Carol) say I don't put pictures of myself on here so I thought that this once I would.
I was amazed Blake would hold the sparklers (that's what hes holding in the pic) without trying to touch the fire part. He loved it!
Paul and Scott were in charge of lighting off all the fireworks. It turned into a who can scare the other one more by throwing a jumping firework under them. It was quite amusing for us girls.

Flashback Friday: Happy 4th of July
Happy Fourth of July! The fourth has always been a fun holiday for us. For those who didn't know or remember, we met on the 4th of July at his ex-girlfriend's house in San Diego through friends of friends. We had a lot of fun and it worked out pretty well for us: 6 years of marriage, 3 kids and a house later. So for today's flashback Friday, I thought I put up some pictures of Paul and I dating (8 years ago...wow!). Awww memories...
These are from the first summer we dated...

This was once when Paul came to visit... I think we were in Dave and Busters.

The summer before we got engaged at Jenni and Jason's after Bear Lake.
