Bear lake weekend

This weekend, we went to bear lake for Paul and Scott to do a triathlon.
Then rented a Ranger (6 seater, our family) and RZR (4 seater, Scott & Jennys)
We rented a condo and had a great time!

Happy 4th of July

For the fourth, we rented a condo at Bear Lake with Scott and Jenny's family.  It was the perfect place for us and we had the best time...
As usual, we bought loads of fireworks. The kids enjoyed setting them off, Jaxon would dance whenever the strobe light ones went off.
Friday, we rented a boat for half the day. Then the other half, we played at the beach. On Saturday we just hung out at the lake.
Afterwards, Kade and Bailey wanted to swim at the pool.
It was the perfect weekend!

My Perfect Day!

Our life is kind of hectic. We have four kids (enough said right?), full time jobs, a family side business, the girls and Kade are in school and all our activities. We are busy people just like most people, I know. Perfect days don't come along very often but I had one recently that i don't want to forget...

My perfect day started out by waking up in a hotel (even though it was a hole). We ate our continental breakfast and headed out to the lake to go boating. Our family loves boating. We are dying to buy our own but are waiting until we live somewhere we can store it and our kids are old enough to enjoy it. We decided to see if we could rent a boat for 4 hours and take the kids out. I was nervous about 2 adults and 4 kids (especially one active baby), I don't like being outnumbered but it was really nice. The girls held on to Jaxon occasionally and Paul drove the boat.  We did a lot of tubing and ALL the kids went (yes even Jaxon!). Both Paul and I got to ride too! Jaxon thought it was awesome! The other kids not as much but to be fair, Bear Lake is freezing cold. We spent time together, without technology, no TV, computer or cell phones. The kids didn't fight at all the whole day (at least that I knew of). Afterwards, we went to dinner at the Bear Pizzeria. Yum.

Seriously, my version of a perfect day: Sun, family and no responsibility. I Loved it and think everyone else had a great time too!
