Every 2-3 years, Paul's immediate family has a reunion while his parents are between missions. Before the reunion, as everyone gets into town it can get pretty crazy. At our house, we had Lynette and Larry's families which included (with our family): 13 kids (ranging from 8 years old to 10 months old) and 6 adults. It was crazy at times but so much fun.
Dinner at the Moodys, all the cousins eating in the backyard, the women out to lunch and to buy groceries ($800-1000 at costco) and my boys with Paige.

Last Day of 2nd Grade
Bailey and Kylie are no longer 2nd graders. They finished their last day today and were so excited! Our family loves summer and we couldn't wait for it to officially start. Plus all their cousins were in town so we were able to miss the last few days. Both girls are well above grade level in reading and math. They are so smart and we are so proud of them!

Tumbling
Bailey and Kylie have been taking tumbling with some of their friends from the neighborhood. They've been practicing their cartwheels and backbends. They've loved it!

New Cousin
Tonight we met the newest cousin on the Chalmers family, Ellie. She's the 28th grandchild :) We already love her to bits.
Before we saw Ellie, we went for some Mexican food. Jaxon was so tired, he fell asleep eating his tortilla.

Frustrated Jaxon
Jack tends to get a little stubborn at times. He's usually a great eater but lately, he has more of an opinion on what he will or will NOT eat. This is him and his disapproval over the yummy tri tip we made.

Robots vs Humans: 2nd Grade Opera
Our girls participated in their 2nd grade class opera tonight. This year they have had two awesome teachers (each did half time) and they put together a short opera. The kids auditioned, made the props and sets. They even wrote the whole thing. it was called Robots vs. Families and was about how technology isn't as important as people (good message right). They were each "moms". We made a stereo boom box (btw Bailey had no idea what it was lol) and an ipad out of cardboard and vinyl. They did awesome and had so much fun!
Kylie even designed the programs.
The short 8 minute program.

Kylie and Bailey's Spring Dance Concert
Kylie and Bailey's Dance concert this spring. They have worked so hard this year and have really improved. They performed to Michael Buble's Haven't Met You Yet and a song from Rio. {Ignore their makeup, I'm HORRIBLE at stage makeup. They will be going au natural next year or I may beg my friend to help me}
They did fantastic and we were so proud! Way to go girls!
