Kylie is a 3rd grade VIP

Kylie's teacher has each student be a. ViP during the year. They get to make a poster (Kylie made hers all by herself!) which hangs all week and they get perks all week and can bring treats on Friday. It's a fun tradition and made Kylie feel very special!

Kade's Soccer

Kades first soccer game (and prob last, they don't have enough players). He loved it and is pretty good at it. Next year we will have to try a better league. Go Kade!

Drawing

Jaxon is just now starting to get into drawing. He wants to make things all the time. He drew on his white board a picture for mommy and was explaining it to me. Love all his facial expressions.

Bailey's knitting

Auntie Carol taught the girls how to knit last Christmas and Bailey finished her first hat. She did it all by herself for her American Girl Doll, Hazel.

Cousin Time

Paul's brother's wife, Stacy and her cute girls were in town this week and we got to have dinner with them. It was chaotic at the Applebees (I'm sure the staff hated us) but so fun!

Building a Windmill with Dad

Kade is way into building stuff. He got a book on making windmills (yes really) and was dying to make one with wood. Paul and Kade spent the afternoon building this. Kade was beyond thrilled and they had a fun time building together.

Jaxon's Dr Appt

Jaxon at his 3 yr old doctors appt. He was not amused by the paper gown but overall is very healthy. There's nothing physical causing his speech, which is good. He's been doing private speech therapy at Primary Childrens which seems to really be helping. We wanted to rule out some other causes: tonsils, iron, etc. He's one healthy little boy!

5k with the family

We heard about a great opportunity (from the Moodys) to help raise money or a family who's father was diagnosed with leukemia by running a 5k as a family. We'd been talking about doing one for a while and this seemed to be a great opportunity. Afterwards we got pizza and watched a movie in the park. We had a ton of fun!

Jaxon starts preschool

Jaxon has started preschool at the same elementary school as his brother and sisters. His first day he decorated a stick figure of mommy and daddy. He was very insistent that mommy had long hair and dad had "mo ai" (no hair). So far he is loving preschool!

Kade Starts Kindergarten

Kade has been dying to start kindergarten and go to school. He can't wait to read and write and learn math. He has the same teacher Kylie and Bailey had and so far he's loving it!

After I took Kade to kindergarten, Jaxon had his preschool orientation. I think he's going to love it. His teachers seem very nice and like perfect preschool teachers. Its going to be a good year.

After both, Jaxon and I went out to lunch to drown my sorrows ( I can't believe all of my babies are going to school now).  He tried to cheer me up and make me laugh by putting foil on his head. It completely worked, such a silly little boy!
