Jaxon starts Soccer
Somebody started soccer today and even got his favorite number, nine. In his world, everything is in nines: nine hundred, minty-nine, nine million, etc. Five year olds learning soccer is one of the funniest/cutest things ever.

Rainy Day
Our Saturday mornings are full of soccer. Today it was a rainy, cold mess. The kids loved playing it!
Afterwards we went home for hot chocolate, grilled cheese sandwiches, and soup. It turned into a lazy Saturday, the very best kind.

Soccer Season
This fall, Kylie, Bailey and Kade are all playing soccer. Kade's practices are Tuesday nights, the girls Wednesday night. They have games all morning on Saturdays: Kade's 9 and the girls 10:30. We've had the most fun watching them and they've loved playing. We can't wait for spring soccer!

Girls vs. Boys
Our tradition for the years good grades is to do a "girls day out." So while the boys were at the father/son campout, we went out to dinner and watched a movie last night. Then this morning went to The Bead Farm where they got to pick out and make their own bracelets. It was so much fun hanging out with these two!
The boys loved the campout. They tried sleeping in the element but it was a little too cramped. They did a ropes course and cooked marshmallows. It seemed like they had a ton of fun.
Afterwards, they came home. Paul took Kade to his first Salt Lake Real soccer game. Paul won free tickets at work and so did his friend who took a son Kades age. They had a ton of fun.

Kades last soccer game
Today was Kade's last soccer game for the cheetahs. He has LOVED it and can't wait to come back in the fall with some of the same team. His kindergarten teacher Miss Yorke was the assistant coach and he thought it was awesome that he could (but never did to her face) call her by her first name. His friend from church, James was on the team and his mom coached. We were lucky to be on their team. It was a great season and Kade learned a ton! Go cheetahs!

Kade's soccer (first few weeks)
Every Tuesday for 10 weeks, Kade goes to soccer practice. He's loving it and it seems to be his favorite. His friend James from church is also on his team and James' mom is their coach. Ms. Yorke, who is his kindergarten teacher is the assistant coach. He's having a blast so far (its definitely better than last season/fall).
Every Saturday, Kade has a soccer game.
The first few games and practices were freezing (May is not supposed to be this cold) The first game I froze. The second I was prepared with my snow jacket #sooverthiscoldnonsense
