Blake's Pictures

Kade's pictures we got taken a couple of weeks ago. He's 19 months old and just bawled the entire time. He wouldn't let go of me or his bear. Luckily the photographer got a few good ones after I made some suggestions. This is after I pushed him off my lap and told him to hug his Bear. (He LOVES this bear)

Now hes smiling a little...

Now the best one. He was happy for maybe 30 seconds.

Then the chair came out and he smiled for another 30 seconds.

I was amazed that we got 4 good ones out of about 25.

Little Divas

Lizzie and Linnie love wearing Mommy's church shoes. Every Sunday, we come home from church and they walk around in them. It cracks me up.

Paul and I really wanted to watch a movie last night that did not have any type of animation so we moved the air mattress from the guest room into the main room of the basement and let the kids have a little slumber party while they watched Enchanted. Poor Linnie was really sick. But Lizzie and Blake loved it and even laid there for a long time. We got to watch our PG-13 movie upstairs, it worked so great it will be a new Saturday night tradition!

Park

Today was the first sunny Saturday this spring, so we took the kids to the park. It was so windy but nice to be able to be outside. This was the first time Blake really understood the park. It was hysterical watching him "discover" everything. First we went on the swings, and at first he was terrified but then realized how great they were and just yelled "WEEEEEEEEE" the whole time.
Lizzie wanted Blake to swing with her. He thought he was big stuff riding the swings with his sisters!
Paul sat down on the swing and Linnie really wanted to push him...
Then Blake had to try...
Blake trying to figure out the tunnel...
He spent about 15 minutes going back and forth...
Linnie in the butterfly...
Lizzie peeking out another tunnel.

Friends

Our friends and old neighbors (their daughter is Kylie and Bailey's best friend) came over to play on Wednesday. The girls all had so much fun playing upstairs, screaming their heads off. Apparently that's what happens when you get three 4-year olds together. This is Kade and K. They played together for a little bit and it was very sweet. This is them sitting on the stairs. I was really impressed when K had Kade's favorite toys (his phone and golf ball) and he didn't freak out. Amazing!

Swim Lessons

Yesterday was Lizzie and Linnie's first day of swim lessons. Now these two girls have no fear of the water. Their poor teacher had to trade out some of the kids in the class because Lizzie and Linnie kept trying to swim away from her. I think she had her hands full but they had the time of their lives. They love swimming.

School Pictures

For picture day, Lizzie and Linnie got to go to school together (which they were so excited for). I had to work so Dad had to get them ready (I tried to do their hair the night before with sponge curlers) but he had to get both girls, up dressed and fed before 8:45. I'm pretty impressed with the results.

These are Lizzie's Pictures. She looks so grown up and cute. I love them! :)

These are Linnie's Preschool pictures. I'm impressed the photographer got her to sit still long enough to take the photos. She's making some goofy smiles but if you know Linnie they are so her personality.

If you want a printed one email me.

Friends are the Best!

On Sunday, our longtime friends came to visit for a couple of hours. Allison has been my best friend since I was three but we haven't seen them since Blake's Baby Blessing when he was a month old. It's been too long.

M and Linnie...Blake Loves to be outside.Linnie
Lizzie... She always poses like this: with her shoulder on one cheek. It cracks me up.
The Wii is always good for some entertainment... for those watching.
