Dinosaurs... just the boys

I love having a little time alone with my boys. It doesn't happen much but for about 3-4 weeks in June, I'm off work while Kylie and Baily are still in school. This summer I didn't get to do much with the boys since most of the time my back was hurting but right at the end I decided to take them somewhere I thought they would love. Kade three favorite things are dinosaurs, superheros and dirt so the dinosaur museum was perfect. We had a picnic then checked out the museum. My camera was on a weird setting so the pictures aren't the greatest...

1st Grade Field Day

The last week of school is full of all kinds of activities, one of the favorites is field day.

Kylie and Bailey have been in dance all year long and have loved it. They did so well at their performance and we are so proud of them.

1st Grade Fieldtrip to Zoo

This year, Kylie and Bailey's field trip was to Hogle Zoo. We weren't sure how it would work with them being in separate classes and me being a chaperon but the girls were reasonable and decided I should go with Bailey's class and Kylie would join Bailey's. With Bailey, Kylie and a little girl from Bailey's class, we had a great day at the zoo, then to the park for a picnic. These three were seriously so good and we had so much fun!

Utah Half Marathon

Paul had the opportunity to run his first half marathon race with his brothers, Scott and Kent (Kent ran a full), and sister Kim. Jenny and I took care of the kids while they did their thing. Unfortunately and fortunately, we missed all of them coming through the finish line since they all knocked out their best times. It was a fun a day and so much fun to watch!

While the Moody's were in town looking for their new home here in Utah, we got to spend a lot of time with them. This is one day we went to the park and the kids made a sandcastle. I love all these guys and am so excited they are going to be around.
