Linnie's Fieldtrip
Today, I had the day off so I was able to go with Linnie on her class's field trip. It was so fun to see her in her element. Her best friend wasn't there today so she made a new best friend, Rachel. I had forgotten how easily kids change their best friends. It cracks me up. This is a picture of Linnie with Brynne her friend.

New Toys
For Easter, Lizzie, Linnie and Blake each recieved $22 from family. They got to take their money to Toys'R Us and buy what they wanted. Lizzie chose a mini Princess Set, Linnie wanted Giselle and Robert from Enchanted, and Blake chose a truck with tools (he really chose it himself. It was the only toy he sobbed over).

Easter ... Bunny?
Easter this year was a lot of fun. Nana and Poppy were here to make it extra special and even Aunt Jenny and Uncle Scott came over for dinner.

Later, the Easter bunny came over. The Easter bunny was my friend Cindy dressed up for a Hotel Easter Buffet, and let us take pictures. She set up an easter egg hunt for the kids too. (It was impossible to get a good picture of 5 kids. I had about 20 shots of them all together and these were the best...

Saturday Hunt in the Park
This morning we got u
p and went down to the park by our house. They had a huge Easter Egg Hunt. But instead of eggs they mostly just had candy bars spread out all over the fields, which were roped off by age. Blake went to the under 3 section and Lizzie and Linnie went to the 4-5 year olds. They blew a whistle and the kids ran to find candy. They all got a lot and loved it. It was pretty crazy. The parents were the worst, collecting their own candy (or for their kids they said...right). It was still a lot of fun!

Lakers vs. Jazz
My parents just flew in yesterday for Easter and my dad LOVES the Lakers. They are his team and he goes nuts over them. Everyone in California does. So when he found out they were playing the Jazz, we had to go. And it was a blast! Luckily the Lakers won.
My dad cheering made new friends during the game and they were all high fiving each other during the game. We all got a big laugh at it.

Our seats weren't the best but not too shabby for nosebleeds.

This is me trying to get a pictures of Kobe... Can you tell which one is Kobe? I still can't!

We're still Alive
Its been a while since I've posted. Not much has been going on in our lives. Paul and Marcia have been busy with work, the girls are doing great in school, and Blake is just growing like a weed.
A couple of weekends ago,
Paul's brother, his wife and their baby came for a visit. It was busy but so much fun. We always love when they come to visit. The girls were such little mothers to their baby cousin (sometimes they were a bit smothering... Sorry Stacy).

Linnie was so proud. Aunt Stacy let her feed her cousin. I think the poor baby looked a little frightened... poor girl.

Blake wasn't very interested in her , just her toys. This is all my kids playing with the baby toys all around. It was cute.

Kade Talking...
We realized about a month or so ago that Kade wasn't talking much but he did constantly have his binkie in his mouth (pretty much 24-7). So we took the binkie away and now hes talking up a storm. I just got some new video cameras for work a few weeks ago and was testing them out with Blake. I wanted to get some footage of him talking. He says hi, thank you, please, and love you for me. I even got him to sign please and blow a kiss at the end (too cute). We've been practicing sign for when his nana and poppy come to visit in a couple weeks. Hes got down: more, shoes, please, & milk.
