The Festival of Colors

Right after Kim and Aaron's family sealing, we went to The Festival of Colors down in Spanish fork. Paul's brothers (Kent and Scott) and their families were able to come with us this time (we went two years ago with just the boys, see post). It was much bigger an crazier this time but we had a blast!

The Festival of Colors is a traditional Indian holiday that celebrates the start of spring (from what I was told). People throw chalk at strangers, you see Indian performers, eat food, etc. it was pretty chaotic but that was part of the fun.

The kids before the chaos. The bandanas are used to cover their mouth, the sunglasses for their eyes.
the bus ride over... all six of us on one seat for the 15 minute drive over.

Dad and Kylie...

Jaxon wasn't so sure of this at first...
Kylie and Bailey probably had more fun than anyone!

A Great Day

Today some of our favorite people were sealed in the LDS temple. Paul's sister's family after going through the temple.
Kade and his cousin, Andi. They are a little over a year apart and are BFF.
Jaxon was so grumpy. He didn't want to sit by anyone. He just wanted to play on the ipad.

Classroom Helper

I love being able to help in the classroom when I can. I usually try to at least once a year, and this year it worked out that I had a day off when the girl's teacher was looking for volunteers to help with an art project. I helped the students draw on quilt squares (Bailey's was a duck and Kylie's was a flamingo) and it was very fun!
Then we went out to lunch to Chick fil a...
I dropped them back off at school for their spelling test, while I went back to work to do my final grades for 3rd quarter. It was a fun day with my girlies.

Happy St. Paddy's Day!

Happy St. Patricks Day!!

Paul's Run in Moab

This was Paul's third half marathon he's run. This time we made the trek to Moab to cheer him and Kim (his sister) on with his parents and Kim's two youngest girls. While we were waiting for them to cross the finish line, the kids played at teh park. They just love cousin time!

The kids being silly...

...Kim and Paul, this is their third race together...

We finally got to see Paul finish a race. He did awesome!

Hunter Sillhouettes Mini Clinics

Kylie and Bailey love to dance and wanted to do the high school drill mini clinics. They spent about 2 days (2.5 hours each day) learning a dance from the "cool" high school drill team girls. Then performed "Should have Put a Ring on it" by Beyonce. It was really cute!

Sealing Weekend

Our Nephew, Carter was sealed to his parents this weekend. Kent and his family came and stayed with us and we had so much fun. The kids all especially had fun together, Kade and Andi especially got along great! We love having them visit.

New Hair Cuts

I told the stylist only to her shoulders, but apparently she had a different idea of what that meant. Luckily, it looks adorable and Bailey LOVES it.

Such a tease

Jaxon is our teaser. He loves to joke and hide and laugh. We've been potty training and this morning when I was looking for Jaxon to take him to the potty. I found him hiding, giggling like crazy... he thought he had the best hiding spot. He's such a funny guy :)

Waiting for Chey

We have an amazing babysitter, Chey. She's babysat all four kids since the twins were 17 months while I'm at work. She comes to our house and basically takes over when we can't be there. While Grandma and Grandpa were visiting the last two weeks, Chey didn't babysit at all and the boys missed her. They were so excited, they waited by the window watching for when she'd pull up.

Sleepy Brothers

Kade and Jaxon are always sharing a twin bed. We are always finding them like this. Granted they do start the night in separate beds but both are a little afraid of the dark and usually end up in the same bed. I've heard Kade ask Jaxon to come sleep with him. And I've heard Jaxon whine until Kade lets him in.
I ❤ these two and hope they always are close.
