Chalmers Family Reunion

Our Reunion was at Bear Lake again this year, making it the third time in 5 years at the "Big House."  The kids run wild and we always have a great time!
This year we did more than the typical going to to lake. On Monday, we rented Rangers and Razers with Scott/Jenny's Family, Becky/Dennis' Family, Michelle and Jocelyn.
We went boating...
Played at the lake...
The kids did activities with Grandma & Grandpa.

On the last day, we stopped for shakes on our way out.
 Took Family Pictures.

Paul's immediate family and their families (missing 2 siblings (Jenni and Larry) and their families, and a couple grandkids (Bre and Tanner) on missions). Another end to a fantastic family reunion at bear lake. We had the best time!

Pre-Reunion Festivities

First night, the Moodys were here, we went to see Captain America in 3D at the theater.
Tuesday: We met Keith and Autumn at Scheels.
Then went to dinner at Brick Oven, then did a sealing session at the temple. Bree went into the MTC the next day. It was a great way to spend the night with family.
Wednesday: We went on a Hike in the evening.
Thursday: We went swimming. Then did a BBQ at our house with everyone.
Friday: was the girls birthday. We went and saw Kent and Stacy's family at the airport.
Then that night the adults went to dinner at Outback. Paul and Kim met "Jack Sparrow."
Then we went to see "Remember the Titans" at the BYU Stadium. Jaxon didn't make it long...
Saturday: The girls went to lunch…
went shopping for all the food. Then we BBQed at Scott and Jenny's.

Post Reunion

After the reunion, we had so much fun with Larry and Jessica's family. We BBQed, roasted marshmallows, saw Grandma and Grandpa Chalmers set apart for their mission, bowled, went to Cabellas, and just had fun with cousins!

Chalmers Family Reunion

This year our Chalmers Family Reunion was at Bear Lake again at the "Big House" we had last time. This time I got to be an observer and Paul's sister Kim planned the whole thing. She did a fantastic job. We all had the best time. We were there 4 nights and it was perfect. It went by so fast.

Chalmer Family Reunion- the before festivities

Every 2-3 years, Paul's immediate family has a reunion while his parents are between missions. Before the reunion, as everyone gets into town it can get pretty crazy. At our house, we had Lynette and Larry's families which included (with our family): 13 kids (ranging from 8 years old to 10 months old) and 6 adults. It was crazy at times but so much fun.

Dinner at the Moodys, all the cousins eating in the backyard, the women out to lunch and to buy groceries ($800-1000 at costco) and my boys with Paige.

Chalmers Reunion

Paul's parents have been serving a mission for our church for the last two years in Argentina. They finally came home in July. The kids made some signs for the airport (we're missing several cousins in this pic who hadn't gotten here yet. )
AFterwards, we planned a family reunion. It was so much fun to see everyone and we had a great time. My kids adored playing with cousins. There are 22 cousins ranging from 6 weeks to 17 years old. Luckily they all have kids around their ages. Kade and Natalie (Paul's brother Larry's little girl) were inseparable. They bonded over their mutual love for candy. It was very sweet .

We had a blast and can't wait to see everyone again in 3 years!
