Rainy Day

Our Saturday mornings are full of soccer. Today it was a rainy, cold mess. The kids loved playing it! 

 

Afterwards we went home for hot chocolate, grilled cheese sandwiches, and soup. It turned into a lazy Saturday, the very best kind. 

Day off

Today was Jaxons kindergarten orientation so I took the day off to take him. Before school, we had just enough time to get some Duncan Donuts with the older kids.

Then we went to the orientation. 

He got to go visit the kindergarten classrooms with the current kindergartners and they taught them a song. Jaxon cannot wait to start real school.

The Easter bunny came last night. This year Kade wrote him a letter and he bunny answered.

Today we dyed and decorated Easter eggs.

Soccer season begins

Kade, Kylie and Bailey are back in soccer for the spring. They are on the same teams and we are excited for a fun season.

City Egg Hunt

This morning, we woke up early for our City's Easter egg hunt  before soccer games this morning. There were hundreds of people and they split the fields by age group.  This was jaxons first one we've been able to go to since he was born. Jaxon was with the 4-5 year olds with me. Kade was with the 6-8 year olds with Paul and his friend Sebastian (who spent the night). E girls were with the 9-12 year olds by themselves with their friends Kaia and Aisly. It was a lot of fun and over within 1 minute of starting.

Planting Peas

The last few years we have participated in a community garden. We pay a small fee for two boxes that are ours to use for the season. Tonight was a good night to start our garden :) we're planting peas now then later on will do cucumbers, zucchini, squash and tomatoes. It's a lot of fun for the kids and we love the fresh veggies we get.

Cousins

My kids are so lucky to have so many great cousins. We always love when we get to see them. This weekend he arsenaults came from Colorado for conference so we got together for a dinner and the boys went to priesthood. It was a lot of fun.

Spring break at the Aquarium

Today, we took the kids to the new aquarium with Uncle Scott, Aunt Jenny and their kids. We loved the penguins and sharks. A lot of sea animals aren't there yet so we are excited to go back.

Spring break- learning to shoot

Dad took the day off today so we went to a movie, Mr. Peabody and Sherman, then took the kids shooting for the first time. They did so well and had a blast running around. As we left it started snowing.
