This year the girls were required to do the science fair. Dad helped them come up with some ideas and do the experiments. Mom helped with the boards (yay for vinyl).
Coming up with their genius ideas
Bailey chose to do a simple machine. She made a simple machine out of tinker toys that could crack an egg. It took a few tries and maneuvering but she was able to do it. It ended up tying for 3rd place.

Kylie at first wanted to use light but since we hadn't seen the sun in weeks, she decided to do a project with gravity. She balanced a match between two forks on a glass then lit the match. It stayed balanced.

Kade wanted to do one too (but for fun) so dad helped him make a "bazooka". It's an air gun that shoots tennis balls. He loved it.
We've already had a ton of snow this year (none last winter) and the kids wanted to go sledding so Paul build them a ramp in our backyard with all this snow. They're having a blast.
Kade was over the snow after about 15 minutes which was long before the ramp was done so no pictures of him and Jaxon kept going in and outside. It's freezing and he had more fun on the ipad than outside.
Kade finally tried the snow ramp... I think he liked it
Today I took the boys to Cookie Cutters to get haircuts. They butchered Jaxons. I told the stylist a quarter of an inch and she took off much more. It's hard to tell in the picture. He still looks handsome but I miss the length. Kade went with a mini mohawk. He looks pretty cute :)
My baby is no longer a baby. He had his first day of primary at church today. Before church, we talked about how he got to go to the big kid class and he kept telling us no because he's little not big. Big vs. Little is his new thing. Doesn't he look cute?
Kade came home from school today wearing this... Class of 2025. I totally remember when I realized I'd be the class of 99. I'm getting old and its completely unreal to think of any of my kids graduating school. BTW the girls graduate in 2022 and Jaxon in 2027.
