Paul earned an all inclusive trip to Aruba for work for the two of us. Six days of relaxation and fun... it was amazing.
Our first day we went on a jeep tour that took us all over the island. Such a fun day with fun people! At our first stop on the jeep tour, the island was rocky and wavy but beautiful. Then we went to a Donkey Sanctuary (there really is such a place). Then we went to a Rock Fort. The next day was full of snorkeling and hanging out at the hotel pool and beaches. The grounds were beautiful and I honestly loved it!
We were able to extend our trip one night and decided to try another hotel. It wasn't as fabulous but it did have its own island with real flamingo. We ended up spending our last morning on the island.
Some parts of Aruba I now know: It is a desert but you'd never know it from the resorts. There are lizards EVERYWHERE. Some are tiny, others quite large. The people are SO nice everywhere. Parasailing isn't as terrifying as I thought it was going to be. My favorite part of the trip was floating in the ocean for hours on a foam pad while Paul paddle boarded with the boys. It was comical and so fun! We ❤ Aruba and can't wait to go back!

Jaxon's headwound
We got off the plane in Atlanta (on our way to Aruba) to these pictures of poor jaxon... He slipped at the water fountain at the park and
needed 4 stitches. I knew it was only a matter of time, this kid has no
fear. Poor Aunt Kim who is watching him while we're on vacation had to
take him to instacare. He apparently didn't cry at all, he's one tough
boy. He was all smiles the whole time. The doctors and nurses couldn't believe it...neither could Aunt Kim! He is super tough!

Reading Material
At the library and I look over to see Kylie reading this... It was pretty graphic for a kids book but I guess informative. She did have some questions on squirms (sperms) and how they get to the egg. She also told me shed only ask me since I was the only one who actually had a baby lol funny kid.

After the reunion, we had so much fun with Larry and Jessica's family. We BBQed, roasted marshmallows, saw Grandma and Grandpa Chalmers set apart for their mission, bowled, went to Cabellas, and just had fun with cousins!

Chalmers Family Reunion
This year our Chalmers Family Reunion was at Bear Lake again at the "Big House" we had last time. This time I got to be an observer and Paul's sister Kim planned the whole thing. She did a fantastic job. We all had the best time. We were there 4 nights and it was perfect. It went by so fast.

Reunion Professional Pictures
This year, we had our pictures professionally taken and they turned out so great. We got several big group pictures, the original family, the grand kids even with newborn Ellie (but minus Ken who had to work unfortunately) and each individual family (except Jenni's because Ken was gone and Keith). The grandkids picture was awesome because what you don't see is all the moms behind the camera making goofy faces, bribing little ones, etc. This is a great family and we all love getting together when we can.
