Kylie and Bailey Start School
Kylie and Bailey started school today. They are in the 3rd grade and in the same class as last year. They have a fantastic teacher they love! They are smart girls and couldn't wait to start school. They each chose their own clothes, hair etc. They are getting so grown up :)

Bear Lake Triathlon/ Camping
This was the last weekend before school started. Paul had signed up for a Sprint Triathlon at Bear Lake so we decided to go "camping" there. He did really good but ended up with a flat during the bike part. We were very proud of him.
We accidentally found these cute cabins at the campground and decided it was a much better idea to stay there than the normal tent we always do. We brought no food and just ate out. I may never go back.

Our digs
Hanging at the beach all day. We dug holes and played in the water and sand.
It was a great way to end the summer!

Happy 6th Birthday Kaden!
This was Kade's first year he got to have a birthday party with friends. He decided he wanted a pirate party and invited some friends from the neighborhood.
We had a scavenger hunt where the kids got a piece of their "pirate" attire. Made an under the sea bottle. They played, ate and opened presents. Kade had a great time.
On his actual birthday, we had a little family party with cake and ice cream.

Mother/Son Activity
Our church did a mother/sons activity tonight (which I helped plan) and it was so much fun hanging out with my boys. We ate ice cream sundaes, made super hero costumes (out of trash bags), wrote letters to each other (we ran out of time to do this), and did an obstacle course where they got to play with marshmallow shooters. Jaxon LOVED the cape and Kade got pretty creative with his. He was in heaven. It was a great activity and we all had a ton of fun!

Camping in the Uintahs
We went camping this weekend with the Moody's in the Uintah mountains. It was last minute and we forgot a few things like a sleeping bag for Jack and a jacket for Kade but luckily it wasn't too cold and Jaxon slept with Paul and I. The only downside was these freaky sheep were on the hill behind the lake and bahhhed all night long. It was annoying but it was fun to get away for a couple days.

Happy 9th Birthday!
Kylie and Bailey turned 9 while we were in Aruba. I've never msised a birthday and felt HORRIBLE missing such a big day for the girls. We were flying home on their birthday but we celebrated all day the next day when I picked them up. Luckily, Paul's sister Kim (who was watching our kids for us) is the best at birthdays and made it special for them. They got breakfast in bed, went to the park, and had all kinds of fun!
Our Birthday Celebration: I made them dirt cake, they got the rollerblades they've been dying for, and spent the day having fun! ❤Love these two!❤
