Santa arrival to City Creek
Thursdays are busy days for us. The girls have band/orchestra then they plus Kade go to children's choir until 530. While Jaxon and I were waiting, I saw online that Santa was coming early to city creek mall. So when the kids were done, we drive to city creek. We needed up eating at the food court where each kid was able to choose what they wanted to eat (they LOVED this) then we ran over to H&M for some gloves since it was freezing. Paul met us right before it started. There were elves passing out glowsticks and the whole crowd started singing Christmas carols. Then Santa showed up on the roof tops and confetti went out over the crowd. It was such a fun time!

Family Pictures
This year we decided to get our pictures taken at Fotofly.
It's been busy and it seemed so easy. I loved how quickly we were able to do them and how they turned out. We ended up having to change our original appointment and had to change to the only slot available on a Tuesday night at 8 pm. I thought the kids would be tired and it would be a nightmare but they did so well and we had so much fun. Our photographer was great with them especially Jaxon. He had a blast and is still using the phrase "turkey booger" and laughs.

Lunch Date
Because we got home so late last night from the Bahamas, I took the day off to get us caught up (laundry, bought food, etc). One of the perks was I got to go on a lunch date with Jaxon before dropping him off at preschool (which may or may not have made us late for school oops). Love getting to spend time with this little guy.

Bahamas Vacation for Two
Paul has an amazing job and he works very hard at it. At the beginning of the first quarter, there is a competition for sales reps and managers to hit 100% quota AND be in the top 3. Paul was the only manager to qualify so we got to go to the Bahamas for a paid vacation for 3 nights and we had the best time. We swam with dolphins again and got massages. We swam, laid out, walked in the ocean, and spent time with fun people he works with. It was a much needed break and we had the best time!

A Real American Hero
Today our oldest nephew, Ken, came home from a year long deployment in Afghanistan. We're so proud of him and so grateful he's home safe and sound. We met Ken at the airport with a sign I made.
