Women's conference

Today was the first time girls age 8 and older were able to attend Lds women's conference. So Kylie and Bailey were for the first time old enough to go and we were able to get tickets to the conference center. Aunt Jenny came with us. They were so excited. We had super close seats and had a great time. Afterwards we stopped for milkshakes. I love being able to have girls nights out with my girls. It was a great night.

Spring break

Today is the first day of spring break and we spent the morning doing this:

They love mine craft and can sit for hours playing it on the iPads or Xbox. 

Polar plunge for a good cause

Paul did a polar plunge in Willard bay to raise money for a cute little girl with Down syndrome (a friend of a friend's daughter) with some friends from work. This was the team that participated but there were tons of people. Afterwards, we went to dinner and had a fun family night.

Happy St. Party's Day

Our typical st. Patricks day dinner with all green food did not work out the way I'd hope. We ran out of green food coloring so substituted red. The kids called it leprechaun blood (gross I know but they were pretty amused).

Afterwards we went to a fundraiser for one of Paul's young men. We watched wheelchair basketball. It was very cool and a new way to spend the mini holiday. We had fun! Happy St. Patricks Day!

Kade's Pump

🍀Today's our lucky day. After 8 months of 3-5 shots a day, Kade FINALLY got his pump today. He'll only need one "shot"  every 3 days. The best part is he no longer has to decide if any snack is worth a shot. He can eat whatever whenever. It's a great day! Happy St Patricks day! 🍀

After a 3 hour appointment being trained on how to use it, we took Kade to lunch to celebrate. Afterwards, we celebrated the new pump with a spur of the moment shamrock shake. This kid hasn't had a dessert not planned in 8 months. He just kept telling me how lucky he was not to have to get a shot. I'm feeling pretty lucky/grateful too 🍀

Dress up crazy

Yesterday was dress up crazy day so this is Kade's version of dressing crazy: Paul's old green sports jacket he always wears for st paddys and a St. Patrick's day hat.

Like father like son
