Things I don't want to forget

While on our 1.5 mile hike this weekend with the kids...

Me To Bailey: Do you like hiking?
Bailey: Uh yeah but its kind of a lot of walking. I'm tired of walking. Why do we have to walk so much to hike?

later... Paul is skipping with Jaxon on his back in the baby pack.
Me to Kade: Kade, isn't Daddy funny?
Kade: Yeah hes funny but not hilarious.

later... Kade and I talking about an alarm, he though it was a police siren but it was a car alarm.  He thinks he knows more than me already...
Kade: ok mom, how about we both know everything. You can pretend to know more than dad and I'll pretend to know more than my sisters.

PS I'll post the camping post tomorrow

Jaxon's ONE

Jaxon Paul is now ONE, where has the time gone??
One year ago, on the day he was born...
And now He's One!
Since Jaxon was born on Cinco de Mayo we wanted to have a festive birthday. It was a little strange having a first birthday without family around but since it was a Tuesday we just did our own thing.
Jaxon LOVES magnets, opening and closing everything, food (all of it), giving kisses (if I ask nicely), and just being a lovable boy. He's not walking yet but I really think he could if he wanted to. He just get where he wants a lot faster crawling. I can't wait to see what the next year brings.
We love you Jaxon and Happy Birthday!!

1st fieldtrip in kindergarten

Kylie and Bailey had their first fieldtrip to Wheeler Farm. They were absolutely thrilled that they got to ride the bus, that was their favorite. They loved it and I loved being able to go with them.
With their group...
Around the farm...
With their teacher, who is wonderful and they love her!
This field trip was great and I think the girls enjoyed it.
So did all the moms. These are some of the moms that went. It made it so fun being able to hang out a little.  I am so glad I am able to take days off to be with my kids. These girls are growing up so fast and I'm lovin' any time I get.

Siblings are great!

I have bunches of pictures on my cell phone of the kids, I don't know when they were taken or why but I think I love them! Its so fun to rediscover pictures you have.
The girls really are best friends. I hope it always is like that...

I hope the boys will be too..

Kade's preschool Graduation

Kade has officially graduated from his first year of preschool. I adore going to preschool graduations. The little 3 year olds are the cutest. This was my fourth one (yes they graduate every year lol). It's exactly the same but still so cute. They sing the monkey's in the tree for the parents, then take pictures.  Kade has loved Preschool and his teachers. He will start up again in September at the same preschool and already cannot wait.
Congratulations Kade!

Cousin's play

Living near family is fantastic. We got to go see our nephew, Ken (Paul's sister, Jenni's son) in his play Seussical, the musical. We love Dr. Seuss and it was so much fun. Jaxon kept dancing and clapping during the beginning. Ken was a monkey and was hysterical. Kade wasn't so sure of Ken but we finally got him to take a picture. I think the kids all really enjoyed the play. This is of the cousins (Rick was at work I think). We loved it and had lots of fun!
