Flashback Friday: Lizzie and Linnie Born

Since I won't have time over the next few weeks to do any updates I thought I'd dedicate this flashback friday to my two favorite girls and when they were born (five years ago on August 1st...crazy).

I was induced after finding out I had pre-ecplampsia and had a fast delivery. The delivery room was insane. It went faster than my doctor expected and everyone was scrambling to get ready. I don't remember much but Paul said there was a lot of yelling. Lizzie was first, baby A, at 1:54 p.m., was 19.75 inches and weighed 5 lbs 8 oz.

Linnie followed shortly at 1:57 pm. She was also 19.75 inches but weighed 4 lbs 5 oz. Such a tiny girl but boy was she fiesty.

This is my favorite picture, the first time Lizzie and Linnie were together after being born. I think they were about 8 or 9 days old. The (stupid) hospital had some weird rule that they/twins couldn't be together do so this was the first time I got to hold both my babies :)
