Happy Valentines Day

For Valentines, we like to celebrate as a family. Paul always buys the girls flowers and the boys chocolates (and me amazing flowers too!).

I make a fun dinner. This year we did a Valentine Mystery dinner I found on Pinterest. The way the mystery dinner works is the names of all the menu items (utensils, too!) have been changed to silly Valentine-inspired names. Everyone gets a menu, writes what they want for each course, then they get served a mixed-up dinner. The kids loved it because it was so silly (Kade thought it was awesome when he got his ice cream Sunday before his real meal but he had no spoon and ate it with his fingers). :) It was a ton of fun and an interesting way to eat spaghetti, biscuits and carrots.  I got Paul and I take out from Outback that we enjoyed after the Mystery dinner.

 Then the kids opened their gift, jammies from us!
