I saw this on a friends blog and thought it would be fun...
Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.
What a fun idea! Here's my memory! We were sitting at the counter at Jenni's house in Clinton; it was the first time we'd met; (sometime in that first visit). Somehow the fact that I used to wear Wranglers, Ropers, boots, and big belt buckles came up! You're response..."Oh dear, that must have been a rough time in your life!" I think we were instantly friends after that! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a super cool idea. I have so many memories of you that it is had to pick one but I am not sure if you remember the summer that we deceided to build a tent and camp out in the back yard and then all of a sudden it was a summer storm and there was tunder and lighting and we got freaked out and went inside your house. I don't remember if Allison was with us or not. Or I remember your birthday parties and every year for about 4 years your mom made that dirt cake with the gummy worms and then after that I think that everyone on the street made their moms make that for them.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember the thing with my dad and the cigarettes. It seemed like there was always one of us that was fighting with each other. We were all so mean to each other that I am suprised that we acutally still talk to each other.
ReplyDeleteI have so, so many memories with us, tear! But, remember when you guys took our nice, new patio furniture and put out the kids chairs on our porch? Funny, but not as funny as when we took them back with the toilet and put some weeds in it for beautiful decor on your front porch! Good times, Marcia!
ReplyDeleteI remember the first time we met and we had to drop Paul off at the airport, I think it was at your baptism, and you were stuck with us for the next couple of hours by yourself. It was wonderful for us because we really felt we had a chance to get to know you by ourselves. I was so impressed with you right from the beginning and so glad that you are a part of our family. Paul and the kids are very blessed to have you.
